Alison & Jacob

 Jacob's Bear!
Hang'n out in the swing.
P.S.  My friend Tanya gave me this swing when I had Alison.  It's the best!
Alison loves it when I pull random toys out of the cupboard above the closet.  And I love it because it keeps her totally entertained for a long time.
A few days away from being 1 month old.
Alison loves her little brother so much!
Alison loves Wonder Pets.  They're her favorite!

Tummy Time

At just a smidge under 1 month old, here is Jacob's first attempt at tummy time.
Not too shabby!

Frank Coyote

Sam was the Special Person of the day today and got to bring home Frank Coyote from her Kindergarten class.  She dragged him around with her all day long.  He's in the last picture.
(The school mascot is the coyote.)

 Giving the chickens some scratch.

 Gathering eggs.
And here's Frank Coyote!

Halloween Fun

Sam LOVES to bake, so for a fun Halloween afternoon activity, she made cookies for some friends.
I've been teaching her to crack eggs.  It still gets a little messy, but that's why we crack into a seperate bowl before we add it to the rest of the mix.
She loves that I let her use the hand mixer now.
She's such a big girl!
Sam is the Special Person at school this week, so she got to fill out this poster to take back to school on Monday.  (With some help from Mom, of course.)

My adorable little Dragon and Princesses!
 Trick or Treating with Carter!
Alison couldn't wait...she just had to have a treat while we were still out trick or treating.

We had a great time at the Oakley Ward Halloween Party!  We enjoyed a chili cook-off, a costume parade for the kids, carnival games, a spook alley, and trunk or treating.
It was all so much fun!!

Alison was so happy to get this cupcake!
And even happier to eat it!

My little moster.  So cute...so spitty!
 Sam loved decorating mini pumpkins!
And was very excited by this tiny bottle of bubbles!
This past week has been hard.  Emotions.  Hormones.  Lack of sleep.  Learning to juggle three kids.  Whatever it is (probably all of these things), I feel like I'm kind of falling apart these past few days.  I'm crying about nothing and yelling at the kids about most things and irritated about everything.  But for the most part, I'm good at faking it so that nobody really knows how I feel.  But then tonight at the ward halloween party, a super good friend asks me how I'm doing, and just the very act of it being her that asked, my eyes immediately began to tear up.  Funny how that is.
I noticed recently that my restless leg syndrome from pregnancy is gone now that I've had Jacob.  So nice!

Then this morning, I noticed that I can take hot showers without blacking out.  Again...so nice!  I love hot showers.

It Hurts to Sneeze

It's been three weeks since I delivered Jake and it still hurts to sneeze. Like a lot! I can't remember if I had this problem, to this degree, with my first two.

Speaking of sneezes, this little guy of mine sneezes so much! I should get him a little shirt from the Disney Store with Sneezy on it.

Jake's First Bath

I gave Jake his first bath this morning. He was calm for the first minute or so, but didn't like it after that. Alison was my little helper, but really just ended up splashing him a bunch of times. I guess that's 2 year old help for ya.
