Sleeping

This doesn't look at all comfortable for Jason!
And yet, it's so cute!
A little father & son naptime.

Jake...just chill'n

It's not the best lighting, but he was just sitting there first thing
this morning...looking all full of cuteness...so I just had to
snap a picture!
I wonder what he was thinking right then?

"Just going through the mail for you Mom!  Nothing but ads."

Glow Stick Lantern

I'm sooo loving this website Pinterest
I keep finding all kinds of fun ideas:  recipes to try, activities to do with my kids, crafts to do, home decor ideas, etc.
I found this idea on Pinterest.  Pretty cool, but...my kids would have been just as happy with the glow stick.

I cut the end off of the glowstick, then carefully broke it into an empty peanut butter jar.  Put the lid on tightly and shook it up.

Synchronized Swimming

Sam was mesmerized by some synchronized swimming she saw on tv so she drew me a picture of it.
As you can tell, they weren't wearing their swim caps.
Haha!

Happy Birthday Alison!

Happy Birthday Alison!
I can't believe my little girl is 3 now!
She's such a joy in my life!
For her birthday we opened presents then went over to Chuck E Cheese for pizza, games, and cupcakes.
She had so much fun!

Grandma Dearman gave her a bag full of princess stuff.
Can't go wrong with princess stuff for Alison.
Samantha gave her this Toy Story Magna Doodle.
Sam also gave her this ice cream cone shaped sidewalk chalk.  She did extra chores and earned a dollar so that she could buy this for her at the Dollar Store.
 Aunt Jamie & Princess Alison
Jamie gave her this super cute skirt.
Ali LOVES it!
Sam convinced Alison to ride on this truck ride, but as you can see, she DID NOT like it!
Sam had tons of fun playing all the games with her tokens!
 This bus was Alison's favorite!
She rode it over and over and over again.
The girls also really liked the little carousel.

She liked pretending to drive!
Notice how there's nobody in the background?  We went when I knew it wouldn't be busy because Alison gets a little bit afraid and apprehensive in crowds.  Plus, it's just easier for me.
I love the little games that produce a picture!  So fun!
Jamie and Jake playing a game and earning some tickets!
 Aunt Jamie and Jake
She didn't actually play the game, but had just as
much fun pretending.
The girls got to sing and dance with Chuck E!
Alison was so happy and excited to get three cupcakes!
She blew out the candles all by herself!
Happy Birthday Alison!
