Celery & Apricots

One day when I was pregnant with Alison, we were eating at Chili's. When we were done eating, I picked up the little piece of celery garnish and ate it. Within about a minute, I could feel my throat closing up. And within a few minutes, it was getting hard to breathe. I drank all my water and the left over of Samantha's cup of milk and eventually started to feel better, with my throat going back to normal. Well, this morning I ate an apricot and within seconds I could feel the same thing happening! I had a big drink of water and even though I don't tolerate milk well, it helps coat the throat, so I drank a cup. I'm not having as bad of a reaction as I did with the celery, but I guess I know now, not to eat any more apricots during this pregnancy.

And here's a funny comic for the day:

And hard as pregnancy is at times, let me tell you, it's equally as funny. In kind of a sad and pathetic way.
